When you arrive at IBC this week, you may notice that the sign out front is missing. We are excited that the deacons have been able to order a new electronic digital sign for our entrance. It is arriving soon.

This upgrade has been made possible by the estate gifts that IBC received last year. The congregation approved the use of non-designated estate gifts to go 80% for property development according to our Master Plan and 20% for outreach locally and globally. This new sign was purchased out of the 20% outreach portion.

Our sign is a tremendous community outreach—information about IBC, welcoming visitors, advertising events, and sharing nuggets from God’s Word. Thousands of cars weekly see these messages. And very soon, the beautiful digital electronic sign will do this even more effectively.
