Sharing life through community is part of our design, but meaningful relationships aren’t always easy to find. That’s why Small Groups exist—to make these life-changing relationships relevant and accessible to you. Each small group at IBC looks a little bit different and reflects the personalities and passions of the people in them. Still, they all have the same commitment to bringing people together and helping each person grow in their relationship with God.
What are Life Groups?
Life Groups are groups, between 4 and 16 people, normally of similar age, that meet in someone’s home, on Sunday nights for fellowship, prayer and Bible study.
Where do Life Groups Meet?
Life Groups will be diverse in size, meeting times, and locations. After signing up for Life Groups, someone will be in contact with you to answer any questions you may have,
and to make sure you are plugged into the Life Group that is right for you.
Life Groups typically meet in someone’s home every Sunday evening.
Child Care and Children’s Music Ministries is provided during Life Group’s.
Why I should consider a Life Group?
Being involved in a life group is an opportunity for deeper fellowship and friendship. It is a place to bear one another’s burdens and celebrate each other’s victories. It’s a place to give and receive inspiration, to live up to God’s best. It’s a place to build biblical community. Life Groups create an atmosphere of warmth and acceptance, fun and relaxation, and an opportunity to build lifelong friendships.
