IBC Speaks Spanish

In answer to many years of prayer, God is expanding our Hispanic Ministry. Jimmy Salinas has led “El Camino” (the Way) and reached and discipled many Spanish speakers. NOW, God has added Miguel and Clara Yustiz as our “missionaries in residence,” dividing their time between Spanish Ministry in WV and remote ministry to Venezuela, their home country.

Under Dr. Miguel’s leadership, Spanish is now on our website. Go to www.ibcwv.org and click the En Español tab. On that page, everything is in Spanish, including a personal greeting from Dr. Miguel. And, even we Anglos can see the Yustiz’s and Jimmy Salinas’ pictures.  It is exciting that people searching the internet for Spanish Churches or Spanish ministries in WV will find us there and many will visit and hear God’s Word.

There is also a new invite card in Spanish available at IBC. Pick up some of these and use them to invite Spanish speakers or to post for Spanish readers to see. The El Camino Spanish service meets Sundays at 10:45 AM. There is also a Spanish Life Group on Wednesday evenings in a home.

IBC has taken on support of the Yustiz’s as missionaries and we are praying for God to use the seeds they plant and the Word they share in Spanish to reach many families and individuals for Christ right here in the Eastern Panhandle. They will also be discipling Spanish speakers to reach out themselves.

Please pray for this expanding ministry. There are over 8000 Hispanics in Berkeley and Jefferson Counties according to the latest census. This is an important part of IBC’s mission field and God is definitely working!
